The Coach House is the Dog & Fox’s private wedding space in the heart of Wimbledon Village. It’s versatile space, private bar and elegant decor make it the perfect venue to begin your happily ever after. We also have a dedicated Events Manager Riley to support you with your planning, be it a small intimate wedding or a grand affair.

We are licensed for ceremonies, have 25 boutique bedrooms (including a beautiful bridal suite with a private terrace) and the pub next door for breakfast, making the Coach House the perfect spot to host your wedding all under one roof.

Aside from the bridal suite, we have 24 cosy hotel rooms for your guests to enjoy. The best bit – guests can join you in the morning, order some gooey eggs and a Bloody Mary (or two) whilst sharing each others memories of your special day.

What time can I host my wedding?

You can host your perfect wedding with us from midday any day of the week.

What time can I get access to the Coach House the day of my wedding

You can gain access to decorate the venue from 8am on the day of your wedding.

What time would my wedding have to finish?

We ask for carriages at 11pm, with the option of extending the licence to 12am for an additional cost.

Do you have parking

We don’t have parking here at the pub (we’re far to central for that) but there is ample on street parking in and around the village, payable via the RingGo App.

Do you host menu tastings?

We most certainly do. We know the proof is in the eating, so you can meet our head chef and taste the dishes here in the pub.

Can I have my wedding ceremony in the Coach House

You most certainly can. We hold a ceremony licence in the Coach House, so can host your whole wedding, from sunrise to sundown.

Do you have rooms for guests to sleep?

We have 25 beautiful characterful bedrooms just above the pub, two of which are perfect bridal suites.

Can you recommend suppliers?

We have some wonderful suppliers whom we’ll be happy to give you the details of. Then you can contact them to see if you love them as much as we do.

How do we secure our wedding date?

We do require a deposit of 10% of the agreed spend for your wedding to secure the date. This is fully refundable up to 1 month prior to your wedding date.

I just wanted to drop you a note regarding my daughter Laura’s recent wedding.

Thank you so much for all the time and effort you, Hannah and your staff put into this. We were really well looked after from the moment we arrived, the food was excellent and the staff were extremely attentive from the beginning till the end.

The tables looked a $million

My wife and I have many friends whose adult children are at the same age as Laura (and Jordan) and we all agree that we would not hesitate in recommending your venue for a wedding reception and or a private function.

Wedding in The Coach House

Hi there- I just wanted to pop you a note to say how truly fantastic the entire team at the Dog & Fox have been in planning our wedding over the last year.

Ben has been an absolute star – always on hand to answer our never-ending queries and maintaining a positive outlook, even when our original date was cancelled and we wondered if we’d ever be able to go ahead!! He is a real testament to the Young’s brand.

We spent the whole weekend at the pub with our close family and all of the staff were so great throughout – from the waiters to the hotel reception, nothing was too much of an ask.

Being able to marry in my husband’s hometown was so special, and the Coach House was a fantastic venue – even with a limited number of guests. I really hope there’s many happy weddings there to come.

Absolutely Brilliant!!!

Me and my now husband, held our wedding at the coach house at the dog and fox in September 2021.

From the word go, the whole team was fabulous and super accommodating, particularly Hannah. Our day wouldn’t have been what it was without her. Hannah flawlessly executed everything from the ceremony, to dinner to our evening party. Communication was also on point during the planning stages and during the day.

The hotel rooms were also incredibly, super comfortable and stylish!
